Sagar Group of Institutions Silver Jubilee Celebrations by Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister, MP

Sagar Group recently celebrated a momentous double milestone the Silver Jubilee (25 Years of Excellence) of the Sagar Group of Institutions and the Foundation Ceremony of the new Sagar Public School, Misrod (International Curriculum). The occasion was graced by the Honourable Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav, who attended as the Chief Guest, along with Shri Rameshwar Sharma, MLA from the Huzur Assembly Constituency. The proceedings commenced with a soulful garland offering to Maa Saraswati, followed by a project exhibition that showcased the technical innovation and creative talent of students from SISTec and SPS. Adding to the spirit of the day, SPS students presented a stirring dance performance to Vande Mataram, filling the venue with patriotic fervour. A special AV presentation was then screened, taking the audience through the 25-year journey of the institution — from its inception to its emergence as a leader in education. In his welcome address, Founder and Chairman Shri Sudhir Kumar Agrawal emphasised the group’s mission to nurture globally competent citizens while keeping them rooted in Indian values. With a dedicated workforce of over 10,000 and a student community exceeding 25,000, the Sagar Group remains committed to building a stronger tomorrow for India. A key highlight of the event was the felicitation ceremony, where Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav honoured staff members for their outstanding and long-term service to the group and the meritorious students of class X and XII Board Examination 2025. This was followed by the formal foundation ceremony for the upcoming SPS Misrod (International Curriculum), marking a significant step towards expanding into global education standards. In his address, Dr. Mohan Yadav applauded the students for their remarkable academic achievements and excellent board results. He also appreciated Shri Sudhir Agrawal’s visionary initiative in establishing the school in 2001, acknowledging the Sagar Group’s continued contribution to education and livelihood generation. As a gesture of gratitude, the dignitaries were presented with special mementoes handcrafted by students. The event concluded with a melodious Ram Dhun by Sagar Agrawal, followed by the Vote of Thanks, which expressed appreciation to the dignitaries, students, and the entire Sagar family for their unwavering support over the past two and a half decades.

77वां गणतंत्र दिवस

सागर पब्लिक स्कूल रोहित नगर में हर्ष, उल्लास और गरिमा के साथ 77वां गणतंत्र दिवस आयोजित किया गया।\r\nकार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ राष्ट्र गान और झंडा वंदन के साथ किया गया। इस अवसर पर प्राचार्य, उप प्राचार्य, शिक्षक -शिक्षिकाएं एवं छात्र छात्राएं उपस्थित थे। प्राचार्य महोदया ने अपने उद्बोधन में कहा कि 77वें गणतंत्र दिवस में हमें अपने संविधान को पूर्ण निष्ठा के साथ सम्मान देना है। साथ ही यह हमारे राष्ट्रगान के 150 वर्ष होने का सुअवसर है जिसने भारत वासियों को एक सूत्र में बांध कर स्वतंत्रता के लिए प्रेरित किया। जिस पर प्रत्येक भारतीय गौरव का अनुभव करता है।‌ तत्पश्चात छात्र छात्राओं ने देश भक्ति से ओतप्रोत गीत प्रस्तुत किया। इस अवसर पर उन कर्मचारियों को सम्मानित किया गया जिन्होंने विद्यालय में अपनी सेवाएं देते हुए 10 एवं 5 वर्ष पूरे किए।\r\nअपने देशप्रेम को प्रदर्शित करते हुए छात्रों ने मनमोहक नृत्य प्रस्तुत किया। कक्षा केजी एवं पांचवीं की छात्राओं एवं ग्यारहवीं कक्षा के छात्र ने देशभक्ति कविता के माध्यम से अपनी भावनाओं को व्यक्त किया। सातवीं कक्षा के छात्र ने अपने वक्तव्य में कहा कि हमारे पूर्वजों ने अपने प्राणों की बाज़ी लगाकर देश को स्वतंत्र कराया अब ये हम सबका दायित्व है कि हम अपने देश को विकसित राष्ट्र बनाने में अपना योगदान दें। विद्यालय के शिक्षक द्वारा एक भावपूर्ण कविता प्रस्तुत की गई। विद्यालय के चारों सदनों की वर्ष में आयोजित गतिविधियों एवं प्रतियोगिताओं के आधार पर सर्वश्रेष्ठ सदन की ट्राफी आरुणि सदन को दी गई। सागर रीयूनियन के अवसर पर विजयी शिक्षक -शिक्षिकाओं को‌ सम्मानित किया गया। कार्यक्रम का समापन धन्यवाद प्रस्ताव के साथ, मिष्ठान वितरण के साथ किया गया।

A Memorable Educational Trip to JLF 2026!\r\nThe Students of Sagar Public School Rohit Nagar had an enriching experience at the Jaipur Literature Festival 2026, where they immersed themselves in a world of learning, creativity, and fun! From exploring the vibrant city of Jaipur to meeting renowned authors and engaging in thought-provoking discussions, every moment was a valuable experience.\r\nThe students had the opportunity to attend sessions by celebrated authors, including Sudha Murty and Gopal Das, Amish Tripathi, Ashwin Sanghi Vishwanathan Anand, Javed Akhtar, Radha Vallabh Tripathi etc and gained insights into the world of literature.\r\nThey also explored the city's cultural heritage, visiting iconic landmarks like the Albert Hall and Jantar Mantar, Jal Mahal, Amer Fort etc.\r\nThe trip was a perfect blend of learning and fun, allowing our students to develop new skills, build confidence, and create lifelong memories.

The Inter SPS Wizard Quiz Competition

"India's performing arts are not merely expressions of beauty; they are the living echoes of our history, values, and soul."\r\nThe Inter SPS Wizard Quiz Competition, based on the theme "India's Legacy in Performing Arts," was conducted at SPS Rohit Nagar by Quiz Master Swastik Shrivastava with great enthusiasm and intellectual spirit. The quiz celebrated India’s rich heritage of classical dance forms, music traditions, folk arts, and legendary performers, encouraging students to explore and appreciate the cultural legacy of the nation.\r\nThe competition witnessed active participation and impressive knowledge from all the teams. Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar emerged as the Winner, showcasing exceptional awareness and confidence, while Sagar Public School, Gandhi Nagar secured the Runner-up position with a commendable performance.\r\nThe event was both informative and engaging, fostering cultural pride and a deeper understanding of India’s performing arts among students.

FAREWELL

With hearts full of pride and eyes set on the future, Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar bid a farewell to its outgoing batch of XII 2025–26 which was organised with great enthusiasm and warmth. \r\nThe programme commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp, followed by a heartfelt welcome address by the Principal ma’am, who motivated the students with her inspiring words. The programme was graced by HR Director Sir and Dean madam.\r\nThe event was filled with excitement through entertaining games that brought joy and laughter to everyone present. One of the most awaited segments was the ramp walk, where students showcased confidence, elegance, and creativity. This was followed by the questionnaire round, leading to the announcement of various titles.\r\nThe prestigious Mr. Charismatic title was awarded to Ranbir Sood, while the Ms. Charismatic title was bagged by Tanya Rahul Sail, earning loud applause from the audience.\r\nA beautifully curated video of past school memories was showcased, leaving everyone nostalgic and emotional. The programme concluded with a gracious vote of thanks by the Vice Principal ma’am, acknowledging the efforts of all involved.\r\nThe farewell ended on a joyful note with footloose moments on the dance floor and scrumptious food, making the event truly memorable for all.

Parent's Orientation Session - Class VIII

An orientation session was conducted for the parents and students of Class VIII at SPS Rohit Nagar to introduce the Integrated Programme for Classes IX to XII. \r\nThe session highlighted a well-structured approach to preparing students for both board and competitive examinations through expert guidance, regular academic monitoring, screen-free and concept-oriented study material, and continuous performance tracking. Emphasis was also laid on the school’s commitment to holistic development, offering personalized mentoring, emotional and academic support, and a result-driven learning environment to nurture confident and future-ready learners.

ALUMNI

The school campus was filled with warmth, nostalgia and joy as the Alumni Meet was organised on 27th Dec in Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar. Former students from different batches gathered to reconnect with their alma mater and relive cherished memories. The programme aimed to strengthen the bond between the school and its alumni while celebrating shared experiences and achievements.\r\n The event began on an auspicious note of ceremonial lamp lighting and the blessings of Dean Ma’am and Principal Ma’am, setting a warm and positive tone for the gathering.\r\nA vibrant cultural programme presented by the current students added charm to the occasion.This was followed by engaging games that brought joy and laughter to all. The alumni actively participated by showcasing their talents through singing and dancing, making the event lively and memorable.\r\nMany alumni shared their experiences, achievements, and cherished memories of school life. Special memory videos were screened, which made everyone nostalgic and emotional, reminding all of the beautiful moments spent in the institution.\r\nThe Alumni Meet concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Vice Principal Ma’am on a positive and emotional note, leaving everyone with a sense of pride, belongingness, and a promise to keep the bond alive for years to come. EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO 3EME CENTRE

It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the children of XI-XII science students to visit 3 EME CENTER of Indian Army. EME that is Electrical - Mechanical Engineers is mainly responsible for the maintenances of light/ heavy vehicles, Combat Vehicles, different artilleries and automated guns used by Indian Army.\r\nIt was an excellent opportunity for the students to connect their learned skills of physics being applied in all parts of an automobile. Students were thrilled to see and hold an INSAS rifle, MMG, hand held rocket launcher. \r\nThe officials from 3 EME centre demonstrated the level of fitness they have through various physical tasks. They also told the students how to make “war plans”. PTM IV - (X & XII)

Education is not just about knowledge, but about the skills to inculcate, talents to nurture, and values to imbibe for life\r\nThe 4th Parent Teacher Meeting for the parents of students of classes X and XII , for the session 2025-26 was organised on Tuesday, 23rd December 2025 at Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar.\r\nThe parents discussed the progress of their ward for academics especially preparation for the Board Examination scheduled in February - March 2026.\r\nThere was a one-on-one discussion about learning from mistakes of Pre-Board Papers and showing better performance the next time.\r\nThe parents could also discuss the ongoing preparation for competitive exams like JEE and NEET etc.

Maths Carnival

On 22 December, the Sagar Public School celebrated Mathematics Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of the great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. The programme featured a Maths Ramp Walk, an engaging Nukkad Natak, and a skit highlighting the importance of mathematics in daily life. \r\nStudents of classes III-V presented mathematical concepts creatively and confidently, making learning both enjoyable and meaningful. The celebration successfully emphasized that mathematics is not just about numbers, but an essential part of life.

World Meditation Day

“A calm mind is the key to a joyful life.”\r\nThe students of Class 8 attended a meditation session conducted by Mr Shantanu Singh and Mr Anshul Jain, trained instructors from 'The Art of Living'. The session helped students relax their minds, improve concentration, and understand the importance of inner peace in daily life.\r\nThrough simple breathing techniques and guided meditation, the students felt calm, refreshed, and more focused. The session was informative, enjoyable, and highly beneficial for their overall well-being.
