"The world is still steeped in the painful memories of the Second World War. The skit presented by the students of IX-D explored a pivotal moment that changed the course of history-The Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The first scene highlighted the dark skies of August 1945, when the atomic bomb was used to destroy the Japanese cities. As we imagine the destruction, the second scene offered a unique opportunity to engage in an imaginary debate about the ethical and moral consequences of these decisions. This skit was presented to explore the complexities of history through the lens of understanding and wisdom."
