Aaruni house conducted an assembly on "THE NOBEL LAUREATE- AMARTYA SEN "

“A defeated argument that refuses to be obliterated can remain very alive.” Students of Aaruni house conducted an assembly at Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar, Bhopal on "THE NOBEL LAUREATE- AMARTYA SEN ". Children initially gave information related to the Nobel Prize and it's importance followed by a brief information related to Sir Amartya Sen's life history and his achievements. They also shared the information about his research works which were based on the following topics - 1) POVERTY AND FAMINE 2) DEVELOPMENT IS PRESENCE OF CAPABILITY AND POVERTY IS THE LACK OF CAPABILITY. 3) DEVELOPMENT AS FREEDOM The students’ performance was praised by everyone. Children revealed their intrinsic interest and enthusiasm through their participation and performance.
