An assembly was conducted by the students of Class KG I E on "Makar Sankranti"

As the sun starts its journey towards the north, it's the time to fly kites, to harvest new crops. It makes all the happy moments of the year and marks the festival of "Makar Sankranti". An assembly was conducted at Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar by the students of Class KG I E to enjoy those happy moments and to celebrate the sweetness of til, through an act on "How Makar Sankranti is celebrated in different parts of India and is known by different names like Pongal, Bihu, Lohri, etc." All the students were dressed up in traditional attire to depict the festival. The act was followed by a graceful dance by our tiny tots. The assembly was an exclusive combination of learning and fun.
