August 02, 2023

An informative assembly was presented by the students of classes IV–C, on 2nd August 2023, where they shared their views about the importance of tigers and their conservation. The students emphasized that tigers play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of ecosystems and preserving biodiversity. They also highlighted the need for collective efforts to protect tigers by creating awareness, avoiding products made from animals, particularly rare animals like tigers, and joining organizations supporting that conservation of tigers. The students further stressed the significance of educating communities about the illegal wildlife trade and its impact on tiger population. They urged everyone to actively participate in campaigns and initiatives aimed at combating poaching and habitat destruction, as these are major threats to the survival of tigers. Every year on July 29th, International Tiger Day, sometimes called Global Tiger Day, is observed to promote awareness for the preservation of tigers and their natural environment. This annual event aims to highlight the urgent need for tiger conservation and raise public support for efforts to protect these majestic creatures.
