Class V-C Assembly on "KARGIL MEMORIAL DAY"

Every year July 26 is observed as Kargil Vijay Diwas to commemorate India's victory over Pakistan in the 1999 Kargil War. The Kargil War was fought between May 8, 1999 and July 26, 1999. During the war, the Indian Army evicted Pakistani intruders and succeeded in recapturing Tiger Hill and other posts as a part of "Operation Vijay". Salute to the brave soldiers of our nation who fight selflessly for our country's honor and makes the supreme sacrifice to protect our motherland. The students of class V 'C' presented an assembly on "Kargil Memorial Day" on July 24th to pay tribute to the Martyrs of kargil war. Kargil Vijay Diwas, is a day to remember the gallant efforts and sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces. The students actively participated in the class assembly and paid tribute to the Martyrs of our nation.
