Students of Eklavya house presented an assembly on "The Great living Chola temples and Mahabalipuram"

" People without the knowledge of their past- history, origin and culture are like trees without the roots. " The students of Eklavya house presented an intriguing morning assembly on "The Great living Chola temples and Mahabalipuram" on October 11, 2023 at Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar. These temples are well known UNESCO World Heritage Sites because they hold cultural, historical and scientific forms of significance. The students learnt about the main architectural features of the temples specially the Shikhara, Garbhagriha and Mandapa. They were also made aware of the significant role of Gopuram in South Indian temples. It was a discerning experience for the presenters and the audience.
