"A girl child is a pride and the future of the nation, Empowering your girl child means empowering your future" An Informative assembly was conducted by class VI E on National Girl Child Day, which is marked every year on 24th January. The students focused on the problems faced by girls in todays society like Girl abuse, domestic violence, killing of girl child , not imparting education for girls. These problems was highlighted by role play followed by giving message that now is the time to educate our boys and empower them to respect girls. Students gave information of various schemes launched by government for girls like CBSE UDAAN Scheme Sukanya Samriddhi Yogna Free and Subsidized education for girls Beti bachao , Beti Padhao
