An refining session, as a part of the series of ASPIRE (A Specialised Program Integrating Resources and Expertise ) sessions, invited Mr. Mahendra Joshi, motivational speaker, author, corporate trainer, entrepreneur and counselor at SPS RN on June 27, 2024 to conduct a session titled "Unfolding Your Inner Strength." He emphasized discovering and harnessing personal resilience through mindfulness and self-awareness. Participants engaged in interactive exercises to build mental and emotional strength. Mr. Joshi's insights on positive thinking and practical strategies left attendees inspired. The session concluded with a dynamic Q&A, equipping everyone with valuable tools to face life's challenges confidently.

Career Guidance session for Class XI and XII students by Mr. Nishant Shrivastava,

On 21 June 2024, SPS RN organized a Career Guidance session for Class 11 and 12 students. The event featured Mr. Nishant Shrivastava, the Head of the Business School at SISTec, as the chief guest. Mr. Shrivastava shared his insights and expertise, providing valuable guidance that greatly benefited the students as they prepare to make crucial decisions about their future careers.

International Yoga Day celebrated at Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar

Yoga is an invaluable gift of India's ancient tradition Sagar Public School organised the International Yoga Day on 21st June 2024 to celebrate the physical and spiritual prowess. Students from grade VI to X demonstrated various yoga asanas. On April 26th, 2024, SPS RN reverberated with the joyous celebration of English Day- A Festivity of Fun and Laughter. It commenced with a poetic parody, where verses danced with humor and charm, enthralling all who listened. Following this, the stage ignited with the vibrant energy of dance drama, captivating the audience with tales told through graceful movements. Laughter filled the air as stand-up comedians tickled funny bones with their wit and satire, while the skit delved into the intricacies of communication, eliciting both laughter and introspection. Amidst it all, the JLF Experience transported attendees to the realms of literary marvels, igniting passions for storytelling and expression. As the event unfolded, SPS RN embraced the richness of English language and literature, weaving a tapestry of words, laughter, and creativity that left an enduring imprint on all who experienced its magic.

Students of Abhimanyu House presented an assembly on -Gratitude and Thankfulness

The students of Abhimanyu House presented an invigorating assembly based on the theme -Gratitude and Thankfulness. The skit and poetry highlighted on the importance of recognizing the abundance around us even in the midst of challenges and appreciating the blessings and positive aspects of life. In conclusion, the House Assembly on gratitude and thankfulness served as a reminder of the transformative power of appreciating the blessings in our lives.

Assembly was presented by class X B on 'World Heritage Day'

World Heritage is the shared wealth of humankind, safeguarded for future generations." World Heritage Day is celebrated on 18th April every year and to make the day significant an assembly was presented by class X B. Students depicted famous landmarks from around the world, such as the Great Wall of China, the Taj Mahal, and the Statue of Liberty. A group of characters were representing different cultures and historical periods. Students made us aware that our heritage is not confined to a single corner of the globe. It transcends borders and connects us all as members of the human family. Students unitedly holding hands in solidarity made a commitment to safeguard the cultural and natural wonders of our world.

Students of Aaruni house presented an assembly on ‘EMPATHY and COMPASSION’

Barack Obama said, “Learning to stand in somebody else’s shoes, to see through their eyes, that’s how peace begins. And it’s up to you to make that happen.” Students of Aaruni house presented an enriching assembly on the theme ‘EMPATHY and COMPASSION’ through an act. Students learnt the value of being compassionate and show empathy towards others.

Sagar Public School Gears Up for Innovation! Under the aegis of ASPIRE Students of Classes VII to IX got a glimpse into the exciting world of Robotics, Electronics & IoT at a recent workshop conducted (on 16th April 2024) by the innovator team from IISER Bhopal! ● Interactive Learning: They showcased their unique eye-controlled wheelchair project and had students test out fun electronics projects. They also provided some goodies to those students who answered correctly. ● Competition Ready: Students gained valuable insights into various robotics competitions and government schemes to fuel their passion for innovation. ● Circuit Crafter: The workshop concluded with an introduction to "Circuit Crafter," their startup offering Robotics, Electronics & IoT training for school students. Students of Class X-A, presented an informative and interesting assembly on 'Nature vs Nurture'

The students of Class X-A, Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar presented an informative and interesting assembly on the topic 'Nature vs Nurture' on 12 April 2024, Friday. The students presented their views through a nukkad natak. They emphasized that howsoever our inherited traits be – dominant or diseased, the environment gives us ample number of chances to bloom and flourish. Over the years this debate has been raging. But its only recently that we have come to understand that the environment plays a more crucial role in the growth and development of an individual than his or her genetic make-up. The environment plays a key role to decide what makes and what breaks us. What inspires us and what upsets us. The children used two potted plants having the same genome to elaborate the theme. The audience sat spell bound and counted on various take aways. While addressing the students, Principal, Ms. Shraddha Kanungo, appreciated the students' efforts and motivated them to participate in extra curricular activities to groom their personalities in a holistic manner.

Orientation programme, for parents of class Nur-II

Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar organized an orientation programme on 1st and 2nd April, for parents of (Nur-II) to familiarize them, “as partners in progress” with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies and the co-scholastic activities. The Orientation began on a thought that was as follows: “A parent is a teacher at home and a teacher is a parent in school and the child is the centre of our universe.” Welcoming parents to the new academic session, Ms. Ashwini Hardikar Headmistress Nur-II spoke at length about the benefits of effective communication between parents and teachers; she laid emphasis on a strong connection with the school patrons. She even sought support and suggestions from the parents to provide best education and growth opportunities to the children of the school, and shared few tips on good parenting. Moving further, she also spoke in detail about different ways of nurturing a child with love and care to build a strong foundation for a glorious future. It was a fruitful interactive session.

Students of Nursery A performed an assembly on “Shapes”

Mathematics plays an integral part in the development of vital life skills at an early age. During their fledgling years, they are quick to apply their learnings to their surroundings. For example, children begin to identify shapes without knowing that our whole world is built around them. Distinction between different shapes helps them observe, identify and discuss the everyday things that they are surrounded by. On Feb 08, 2024 the tiny tots of Nursery A at Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar performed a class assembly on “Shapes”. Children participated with extreme enthusiasm and put their talent on a very colourful display. The children were dressed in radiant colours and carried different shapes with them. This activity provided a platform for the young ones to showcase their innate creativity and express their passion for learning in a fun-filled and easy way.
